Description:
The resource-rich world of Lum is Clan Snow Raven’s capital. The planet is dotted with repair and manufacturing facilities for a whole range of naval and aerospace craft; the orbital construction yards surrounding the world, and those based at the planet’s LaGrange points are the largest in all Clan space, in not the entire galaxy. Lum has two recharge stations; Tivoli station is based at the system’s zenith point, and Hofburn located at the nadir point.
[3057] As part of the two Clans on-going dispute, Clan Jade Falcon launched a raid in force against Lum in 3057. Star Colonel Buhallin of the Falcons' Forth Striker Cluster persuaded the Ravens to grant his force safcon, a wise move considering that a WarShip Binary patrols the Lum system, and then launched a Trial of Possession for the J7 Armor Fabrication Plant. Two Trinaries of the Fifth Raven Auxiliaries stood against the Falcons and were swept aside. However, knowing that they lacked troops to hold the facility, the Falcons ransomed the plant back to the Ravens in exchange for a month's production.
